Being surrounded by nature means occasional surprises — strong winds may move outdoor furniture or hot tub covers, winter snow can make the gravel road icy (4WD required), and insects are common in warmer months. You may also spot local wildlife like deer, bears, or snakes. Our team and pest control work hard to keep everything comfortable, but some natural elements are beyond our control. This cabin is perfect for guests seeking an immersive secluded nature experience — not ideal for those expecting a polished luxury resort.

Other Details to Note

*Please be advised this is a Mountainous Property. The main and secondary roads are paved. However there are many side roads which are gravel or hard packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing the property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During the inclement weather of the winter season such as snow or ice you will be required to have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We will consider service dog on case by case basis. Please Note that we do not give refunds for road conditions and electricity outage that are out of our control. We strongly recommend a 4 wheeled drive vehicle or a truck to access this property during the winter season.

This is my favorite vacation rental. Quiet and peaceful, beautiful scenery. I enjoyed using the fire pit and liked that there was an outlet under the pavilion so I could plug in a light to read by. The hot tip was a great way to relax under the stars at the end of the day. Everything was neat, clean, and fresh. the bed was very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. I will be back.
